But after trying it on a different phone (my blackberry from work) in various locations, I realized that 1) the noise cancellation doesn't work at all; and 2) there's a lot of static & noise even in a quiet apt. I bought this bluetooth as the few reviews on it were mostly positive. Granted, this is my first bluetooth, but I am beginning to wonder if bluetooth technology is advanced enough to replace old-fashioned wired earbuds. After people kept on complaining that they couldn't hear me while I was on my bluetooth, I stopped using it altogether. It didn't take long for me to realize that the sound quality is extremely bad. At first I thought it was my phone (LG Dare) that was incompatible with this bluetooth or that my apt just had bad sound transmission.
They are very easy to use and comfortable to wear, sometimes I forget that I am wearing it.I also enjoy the hands free and not being distracted with all the many buttons on the phone. I liked my Latte, so much I got one for my partner.
I haven't had anybody complain about how I sound and I have asked everybody that I have spoke to (while using this).* Looks fine. Here are a few conclusions that I have come to:Pros:* If you don't like something in your ear, then this is great. If my Plantronics 330 dies, I will replace it with another bluetooth and continue to use this one as a back-up. * Periodically uncomfortable - If you don't fit it in your ear just right, it can get really uncomfortable. It sits on the outside of your ear and does a decent job staying in place. After doing quite a bit of research, I thought that this was an excellent replacement. Now that I have my Plantronics bluetooth fixed, I just use this one as a back-up. When you hear the first beep, start preparing to switch to your phone or another bluetooth.
* Easy to pair-up* DECENT (not great) sound on both ends. I have a Plantronics Explorer 330 Bluetooth Headset that I decided to replace (the ear piece fell off - I have since found and fixed it). I don't know exactly why it can be uncomfortable, but when it is, it hurts.Overall, not a bad bluetooth. If you want something basic, looks decent, doesn't go into your ear, this would fit the bill. Honestly, I don't think that either one does it or if they do, they don't do it well.
With my Plantronics, I can have it off the charger for a week or so and not have to worry about it.* Noise Cancellation - Doesn't do any better job at noise cancellation than my Plantronics 330. I cannot tell (nor can the people on the other end) any difference between this headset, the Plantronics, & the corded headset that came with the phone. It will NEVER be my primary. If you are looking for something that will do noise reduction, LOOK ELSEWHERE. Doesn't look odd like a lot of them do.* Easy to change from Left-to-Right ear.* Decent range and resistance to interference.* Pretty good value.Cons:* Battery Life - Horrible battery life compared to my Plantronics. I think that there are bluetooth headsets that work just as well, if not better, for the same price. After using this bluetooth, I think that I will stick with my Plantronics.
I have had my ear so sore after wearing this for an extended period of time that it hurt just to take off the bluetooth. You get some warning when the battery starts dying, but not too much. Is comfortable MOST of the time. Every day that you use it, you have to make sure that you charge it at night.
Actually you can not even realise you are wearing a bluetooth. this one is the best. Sound quality is the best feature of this bluetooth headset. Anyway. DSP seems to work perfectly Very comfortable with adjustable ear loop. I can play gold with this one on.
I recommended my husband and he also bought it.I give 5 stars on the comfort and sound clarity. This is the most comfortable bluetooth handsfree that I ever had. Most of the bluetooth handsfree hurt my ear when i wear it for a long time but I can wear this one for a long time.I usually surounded by a lot of kids and loud noise, but I can hear the other person's voice very clearly.
